• The Garden Route is famous for it forests - these are natural indigenous forest with an extensive huge variety of trees attracting many birds - so bird watching is very popular in this area.
• Fynbos is only found in the Western Cape and Eastern Cape of South Africa - no where else in the world!

 We are active along the Southern Cape Coast, from Wilderness to Tsitsikamma.

Properties for sale in this area range from coastal sites to quiet river frontages, untouched indigenous forest to mountain retreats, a variety of smallholdings, many with magnificent mountain or sea views, and production farms for sale.

We also cover the Uniondale area and Game Ranching country in the Eastern Cape.

Farming

Our long experience of different farming areas and activities enable us to advise you on the many choices available. Increasing rainfall patterns from west to east allow a variety of farming opportunities.

Sheep and ostriches are successfully farmed around Mossel Bay and Uniondale.

Proteas, other flowers and vegetables are cultivated all along the Garden Route.

Soft citrus, stone fruit, nuts and hops grow predominantly between George and Plettenberg Bay, while the Tsitsikamma area is renowned for dairy farming. More recently grape vines have been found to grow very sucessfully in The Crags, near Plettenberg Bay and many vineyards have been planted.

Decidious fruit grows well in the Langkloof, east of Uniondale. The land from Uniondale into the Eastern Cape is suitable for Game Ranching.

Property Development

The Garden Route has developed at a rapid rate over the last 10 years, resulting in fantastic returns for the investor.

The legislation regarding development is becoming clearer allowing one to identify specific areas that are suitable for sustainable development.
